Implementation:
After the Quality Manual and Operational Procedures are developed, the most significant step is to assure that they are properly implemented. To validate that the procedures are adequate and effectively implemented, your internal auditors must conduct periodic audits on each specific clause of the standard. With ISO-9001:2000, auditing of your processes is also required. If your internal auditors identify nonconformance's, corrective and preventive action must be taken to eliminate the nonconformance and prevent the problem from recurring.
Training for Results:
We will provide your Internal Auditors with training to help them understand the reasons for an audit, to plan and conduct an audit, create audit checklists, record noncompliance's, to debrief the results and develop a formal or informal audit report. During their first few audits, we can accompany them and offer suggestions in the areas needing more emphasis. Some companies are finding it beneficial to outsource their internal audit process to improve the independence of the auditor(s) and save on training costs.
